On June 26, 2012 4:00 PM, ROBLOX released a new website design. The new design was made with a goal to have access to the latest news, showcase new games, and improve features in the forums.

On August 28th, 2019 ROBLOX announced the discontinuation of ROBLOX Custom Physics in favor of Bloxlet. This will eventually be released as an update so that all games made for Classic ROBLOX mode will automatically have the new physics system in place, but there is an unknown future for what will happen to those games when the discontinuation happens.

ROBLOX is a great game, and has lots of potential, but it's not being used as a serious game developer wants it to be. You can't break out of the virtual world without spending money on the Robux currency. It's like a video game and to continue playing you need Robux, but if there is no value in the game then they don't want you to play at all.

On November 2nd, 2018, ROBLOX announced that the company is looking into implementing stateoftheart anticheat technology. This was made to reduce the chances of "botters" putting random objects in games that don't belong there or making designs that look like they can be through a video editor. The company also stated that if there are any issues with their anticheat software, they will let everyone know as soon as possible.[24]

In March 2018, ROBLOX introduced "VRChat", a game where players can create their own social VR experiences and attend live events. This game was released as a beta version on Steam Early Access in March 2018. A release on PlayStation 4 is planned for August 28, 2018.
